From Blast-Off to Splash-Down

Pre-Flight
In the pre-flight phase, OrbitalMed’s experienced astronauts will provide an overview of spaceflight and what to expect while in space. This initial orientation will cover OrbitalMed’s medical support, training, and certification process that will prepare them for the journey ahead.

Flight
During the space mission, the OrbitalMed staff will be ‘on call’ 24/7 to provide the space traveler assistance while acclimating to the experience of spaceflight. OrbitalMed will provide the guidance to ensure that the spaceflight delivers an exciting experience that will last a lifetime.

Post-Flight
Upon return to the planet, the space traveler will be followed by our medical staff as the body readjusts to the Earth environment. Specialized medical testing will be performed to verify that the traveler’s health has returned to pre-flight baseline.
